Lightweight Protection for Windy and Damp Conditions

The UF PRO Hunter FZ Gen.3 Tactical Softshell Jacket combines lightweight weather protection, high breathability and freedom of movement in a compact tactical design.

Designed for transitional and rapidly changing weather, the Hunter FZ Gen.3 uses UF PRO’s hybrid construction approach, positioning different technical fabrics exactly where their properties are most useful. The result is a jacket that provides protection from wind and light moisture without sacrificing ventilation or mobility.

Windproof and Water-Repellent Protection

The main outer fabric is made from a lightweight 94% polyamide / 6% elastane blend. It blocks cold wind, repels light moisture and maintains enough stretch for unrestricted movement.

The Hunter FZ Gen.3 is suitable for brief exposure to moderate rain but is designed as a water-repellent softshell rather than a fully waterproof rain jacket.

37.5® Technology for Moisture Management

The inner lining uses 100% polyester with integrated 37.5® Technology, helping manage moisture and regulate the microclimate inside the jacket during changing activity levels.

This makes the Hunter FZ Gen.3 especially suitable for situations where periods of intense movement alternate with lower activity.

Breathable Stretch Side Panels

Highly elastic 80% polyamide / 20% elastane side panels are positioned in high-heat areas to improve airflow, accelerate drying and provide additional freedom of movement.

The redesigned Gen.3 side panels also provide improved stretch and shaping compared with the previous generation.

Lightweight and Packable

With a weight of approximately 610 g in size L, the jacket is lightweight enough to pack into a backpack and carry as on-demand protection when weather conditions suddenly change.

Its anatomical construction also allows it to function effectively as a mid-layer underneath additional outerwear.

Strategic Pocket Configuration

The Hunter FZ Gen.3 provides six practical pockets:

• 2× hand pockets with zipper closure and mesh lining
• 2× upper-arm pockets with zipper closure and hook-and-loop areas
• 2× pen pockets integrated into the upper-arm hook-and-loop areas

The extended front pockets of the Gen.3 provide increased storage space and easier access.
